This is a solution to stop drivers from entering the highway driving against the traffic. A problem also known as ghost drivers. Using a radar to detect any traffic moving in the wrong direction the system uses fully flush road markers to alert the driver of his or hers mistake. Within a period of ten days after installation, the system had already stopped one driver who was about to enter the highway in the wrong direction. The ghost driver problem is constantly present. Every year a substantial amount of drivers enter the highway in the wrong direction and many cause severe accidents. A safety solution like the one shown in the video is an efficient way to prevent many of these accidents to happen.
