Lucebit Road is a division for in-road lighting that originated from the German airfield technology company Lucebit. Lucebit supplies system solutions for airfields on a worldwide scale. The Advanced Light was originally developed as a taxiway light for airfields. There it was constructed to meet the rigorous safety standards and requirements of in-road lights with zero mm protrusion. After a series of successful installations on airfields in Sweden, Denmark and Spain it was decided to create a new version of the light, this time especially for the road.
